On 13-14 September, it is time for the third Swedish space conference called Rymdforum.
Rymdforum is organised every second year by the association Rymdforum Sverige1 (= Spaceforum Sweden).
Previous national Rymdforum conferences were held in Kiruna (2003) and Trollhättan (2005) with about 300 participants. The association also arranges annual seminars in Stockholm for politicians.
The objectives of Rymdforum 2007 are to:
• strengthen the cooperation within in the space community
• exchange information and give inspiration to new activities
• enhance the awareness among decisionmakers about Swedish space activities
• demonstrate what the space community can offer to the rest of the society
The conference will include three half-day oral sessions with invited speakers, exhibitions, posters, discussions, guided tours and business meetings.
Some presentations at the conference will be given in Swedish.

1 The nine present members of Rymdforum Sverige are the Swedish Space Corporation, Saab Space, Volvo Aero, the Swedish Institute of Space Physics, the Swedish National Space Board, the Association of Swedish Space Scientists, the city of Trollhättan, Kiruna Municipality and Progressum (a developmental company for the business of Kiruna).
