At the end of November, SSC performed the final Factory Acceptance Test for the first MSS 6000 system for the Portuguese Airforce. As part of our standard quality assurance procedures, all systems are extensively tested before being shipped for installation in the aircraft. The customer is always invited to attend the final Factory Acceptance Test and the Portuguese Airforce had their representatives present.
 
The Portuguese Airforce has operated the SSC Maritime surveillance system with good results since the 1990’s and the present delivery is an upgrade of those systems to MSS 6000 standard. The systems are used mainly for fishery surveillance for the Portuguese Fishery Inspectorate.
